RESULT ANNOUNCED: The Greatest Jazz Artist of All Time: Miles Davis (from a BBC Music Jazz listeners' poll)




BBC Music Jazz, the temporary digital radio station has announced the results of the of a poll of BBC Radio and JazzFM listeners. Listeners have been voting for the greatest jazz musician of all time, from a shortlist of 50, and the winner is:

THE LIST OF THE TOP FIFTY IS HERE

NOTE: BBC Music Jazz is a temporary pop-up radio station for jazz on DAB, and mobile, in collaboration with BBC Radio, Jazz FM and EFG London Jazz Festival from 12 – 15th November. 

Programmes include bespoke jazz content, live broadcasts from London Jazz Festival, unique one-off documentaries and archive recordings, expertly curated by BBC Radio in collaboration with Jazz FM for the very first time and available to catch up on BBC Radio iPlayer.
