AUDIO INTERVIEW / PREVIEW: Poetry and Lyrics Festival (Kings Place, 10th - 11th June)

Sebastian writes:

A songwriting workshop by Sorana Santos (link to her feature about Hejira Forty Years On below) is just one of the eleven events which form the Poetry and Lyrics Festival at Kings Place. which has been particularly broad and inclusive when choosing the kind of music represented.

I interviewed Isobel Colchester who sits just a few feet away from us in the Musicbase at Kings Place. Isobel is Chief Executive of Poet in the City, and is Director of the Festival, the first festival which Poet in the City has curated.

Our audio (above) was produced by Naoise Murphy, who is currently interning at LondonJazz News, and who will also be reporting on the festival for us
